There are a number of different types of work-from-home jobs in Spain. Some of these include teaching, cafeteria work, and coworking spaces.

    Teaching

Getting a work visa to teach in Spain can be a difficult process. However, it can be done. There are a number of options for teaching abroad, including private and public schools, summer camps, and private tutoring. It’s important to understand the process before you apply.

The most common way to get a job as an EFL teacher is to join a language assistant program. These are either government or private organizations that pair you with a Spanish school or group. While the requirements may vary, you’ll typically be required to complete a university course.

Another option is to become a private English tutor. These positions are available in both public and private academies but require a substantial amount of experience and education. You’ll teach adults and children, ranging from four to ninety years old.

You’ll need a teaching certificate, preferably from a reputable college or school. You’ll also need a decent internet connection and a laptop. If you want to start earning before moving to Spain, you can post a job ad on a website.

    Coworking spaces

Coworking spaces for work-from-home jobs in Spain are growing in popularity. These workspaces are designed for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and startups, allowing them to network and collaborate. The coworking market is relatively young but has been growing by 25% in the last two years.

Barcelona is an emerging tech hub, and there are a number of creative coworking spaces in this city. Depending on your needs, you can find a space that offers a variety of workspaces, from a private office to a shared space. Most of the coworking spaces in Barcelona offer a free trial for new workers.

Betahaus is the top coworking space in Barcelona. It is open 24 hours a day and has a flexible membership. In addition to full offices, members enjoy ergonomic chairs, a meditation room, a yoga studio, and high-speed Wi-Fi board games.

Utopicus in Calle Colegiata offers fully-fledged office spaces for teams, with a community manager. They also offer printing services and mailboxes.

    Cafeterias

The benefits of working from home in Spain are numerous. Aside from the obvious perks of a work-from-home job, you aren’t stuck cooped up in a boring office all day. You can easily get out and about and see the country from time to time. And, if you’re into the digital nomad lifestyle, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded people.

If you’re looking for a way to earn some extra cash, consider getting a part-time job in Barcelona. Many companies offer full-time positions for just 36 hours per week. It’s also possible to find self-employment.

The best part is that you don’t need to sign a contract. Instead, you can take your pick from the many co-working spaces popping up around town. For example, you’ll find the Work Cafe, a collaborative workspace. In addition to a good coffee, you can tuck into unlimited snacks and savor the perks of being in an office.

Of course, you might want to make sure you have the right kind of Wifi. Some cafeterias aren’t open during the daytime.

    Working with international citizens

If you want to work from home with international citizens in Spain, you must first obtain a work permit. There are several options available for obtaining a work permit, depending on the type of worker.

One option is the digital nomad visa. It will allow foreigners to work in Spain for up to one year. To be eligible for this visa, applicants must prove that they are self-employed or that they have a contract with a Spanish company. They must also have a professional relationship with the company for three months. Those who would like to stay longer in Spain must apply for a temporary residence permit.

Another option for working from home with international citizens in Spain is the regular work permit. This option is the most direct. Applicants who meet the requirements for this type of permit can obtain a work permit at the consulate. In addition, the applicant must have a valid NIE number. The application can be submitted online.
