Apart from the traditional Chinese juggernauts, the emergence of other smartphone companies from China has increased their market share even more. Companies like Vivo, Realme, and OnePlus have expanded globally after gaining confidence in the local market with a high success rate. Most of these companies are owned by the same parent company, making technology sharing among Chinese companies easy and quick.
For comparison, Realme – which was only formed four years ago – sold 100 million units globally and was amongst the top5 brands in 21 different regions.
It’s no surprise that the rise of China’s smartphone industry has coincided with their financial might, and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop anytime soon.
